Responsibilities
- Lead the technical planning & requirements gathering phases including estimate, develop, test, manage projects, architect and deliver.
- Java, Spring Core, MVC, JPA, Spring Boot, Hibernate and JMS frameworks, Cloud Technologies.
- Understanding of micro services architecture and enterprise frameworks.
- Additional plus: Apache Camel, Springboot, IBM Cloud
- Serve as a technical lead and mentor. Provide technical support or leadership in the development and continual improvement of service.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with team members.
- Demonstrate the ability to adapt and work with team members of various experience level.
Skills/Experience
- 8+ years of IT experience in software development in developing web applications and client/server applications
- Ability to lead and mentor teams to provide technical deliverables in accordance with SDLC methodologies such as SCRUM and Agile
- Plan, track, manage and lead small teams on short term sprints, and long term software deployments
- Experience in the Eclipse IDE and Spring Framework.
- 8 years of strong JAVA Programming experience.
- 5 years of experience developing web applications utilizing JAVA Enterprise Edition (J2EE), XML, and Web Services at an enterprise level.
- 6 years of experience with J2EE Framework components such as Servlets, JSP, JDBC, Logging mechanism Transaction Management and Thread Management.
- Good understanding of developing Web-services.
- Good understanding of HTML UI, CSS and JavaScript.
- Strong technical skills including understanding of software development principles.
- Ability to multi-task and support development teams to ensure timely software development deliverables
